Okay, so semi-friends.  What's that?  Well, for the most part, I'll be f-locking all my entries of an extremely personal nature and my original fic postings.  I don't want just anyone to be able to come around here and read my stuff and know about my life.

That said, most of the stuff that I post about the HP fandom will be open for anyone who's interested.

OK, so I'm sitting here watching the re-runs of Nip/Tuck. The one from two weeks ago titled "Manny Skerritt." And I just had to stop...

I am squee-ing like such a fangirl right now. A few months ago - I can't remember if it was November or December - I bid on some art ericahpfa was doing for oldenuf2nb's Art For Dance. Even though I didn't win the piece being autioned off then, Erica was nice enough to offer those who cast a losing bid to donate and receive a wonderful piece of art.

Today, I came home from work to find an email in my box from Erica with the line-art done for my piece.

omgomgomg! It's amazingly beautiful! Features an Alpha-ish!Remus and collar!Sirius. Shirtless and saggy jeans. And TONGUES! and did I mention Sirius is wearing a COLLAR!!!?!

It is so made of win that my heart has exploded and I am ded.

I replied to her email and told her how much I love her and the piece, but I can't stop ogling it :)

Yay! I can't wait to get it in the mail!

Another year and she's out to get Harry and Draco married off which ended last year with Harry proposing to Draco. *yay!* The continuation of this arc promises to follow a very energetic Draco and Harry being Harry (so far) as we all follow their journey of wedding planning bliss *heh* up until the final moment.

With that said, eariler this month she put out a call for wedding-related prompts. Of course I had to put my say in - guest list. What developed was a drabble of Harry creating his short guest list of people he'd like to invite. Read it here!

I loved it! It totally reminded me of what I went though planning my own half of the guest list for my upcoming wedding. See - I've got practially no one and he's got, well, everyone else.

I just finished watching the last episode of Queer as Folk. It's been a while since I cried like a little bitch at a television show.

I totally understand why they ended it the way they did - I just don't like it. Out of everyone - Brian and Justin should have been together in the end. It makes me incredibly sad that they weren't - especially that part at the end where they're lying in bed together after and then it's just Brian. OMG SAD!

*runs off to wail like a stupid fangirl*

So, I'm all ready to start my last semester in grad school. Keep in mind that I've already completed my thesis and just have one more class of writing to take.

Some background...

Last semester with my Thesis seminar, my professor was super cool about me being late because my boss refused to let me out of work a half-hour early so I wouldn't be late to class. I think the latest I ever was was 20 minutes and that was a bad weather day.

Anyway, so I email my professor for my fiction writing class and tell him how my boss is an ass and won't let me leave early once a week so I won't be late. And he's all like, < lumbergh* >"yeah, that's going to be a problem"</ lumbergh > and for me to talk to him again. Which of course, I tried to do today, but yeah. Not happening.

So this is where I go, "WHAT THE FUCK DO I DO NOW!?!??!"

OK, so I'm gonna email the professor and tell him exactly what my boss said... "I can't allow you to do that. We're (the company) not in the practice of letting people leave early on a consistant basis. It looks quite bad for you."

and then I'm gonna email the graduate advisor and see if this can be worked out. Because I really need to take these classes and graduate this year. Yeah.

Grrr!  It's almost the last day of the month and I'm still not quite done with my spn_monthlyfic challenge.  Can you say "difficult?"  The two characters I have to pair up are minor (of course), so that means you don't get a lot of screen time to see them and figure out how you want them to act in your fic.  Hell, I didn't even get enough of a feel of their personality in order for me to write something - so that only means that it'll be WAY OOC, which I'd rather not write, but I might have to.
